THE PREAMBLE!
This creative critical essay on (among other things) the state of Philippine NonFiction as promoted by Ms Jing Hidalgo, first presented on the 46th UP National Writers Workshop about a year ago, almost to the day, is posted here for context in preparation for EXQUISITE VENTRILOQUIST: Learning To Love Dean Alfar, which is a creative critical essay on the state of Philippine Speculative Fiction as promoted by Mr Dean Alfar, written as a series of annotated blurbs, at times petty, at times snide, but always ever smart.
